Seattle Gum Wall – October 12, 2021

Description
Tucked in an alley near Pike Place Market, Seattle’s famous Gum Wall is a chaotic mosaic of color, texture, and time. What began as a simple act of rebellion became an evolving art piece, layer upon layer of chewed-up history, pressed against the bricks. On this particular evening, something about the vibrant randomness made me pause. The glossy sheen, the clash of colors, the absurdity of it all, it’s strange, it’s iconic, it’s undeniably Seattle. Not much else to say, except… don’t eat the gum.
